Here’s to Crime . . .

Sandra Robson is the author of the Keegan Shaw Mysteries beginning with False Impression. She has lived in London and traveled extensively in the British Isles. She currently resides in Florida, where she arrived 50 years ago on a sailboat with a man she calls her "12-year mistake". While neither the sailboat nor that relationship lasted, Sandra's passion for writing has carried on.

As a child and young woman, she dabbled in poetry, but her true love is mysteries - not suspense, but the old classic 'whodunits' - especially those written by notable British authors.

The female sleuth featured in Sandra's mystery series is Keegan Shaw, a 40-something photojournalist who got divorced and was left with a very large house she didn't want. When her beach cottage developed a disastrous plumbing problem, she moved into the unwanted house and opened it up to a bunch of quirky artist-types who had nowhere else to go. Since then, murder, mystery and mayhem seem to land at Keegan’s door – completely unsolicited.

Sandra is currently completing the eighth book in the series with a ninth book in the works, all of which are dedicated to her remarkable husband “who always offered to help me with the sex scenes”.

Praise for the Keegan Shaw Mysteries

“False Impression is better than a good read, it’s a story that the reader gets involved in. Trying to solve the crime before the final pages is a tempting challenge. I hope you have better luck than I did. Keegan Shaw is a character I hope to see more of.”

— Michael Haskins, author of the A Mick Murphy Key West Mystery series

“False As The Day Is Long will take you across the Atlantic, toss you into the London art world, and drag you into the mind of a killer.”

— Mary Anna Evans, author of the Faye Longchamp mysteries

“Photojournalist Keegan Shaw has baggage. Married, divorced, a dead ex-husband, she’s solved two murders and dating an English rocker. And the eccentric cast of characters she’s surrounded by have even crazier lives. False Promises is a locked room suspense-murder that will have you guessing right up to the end. Wonderful story, strong characters, highly recommended.”

— Don Bruns, author of the Quentin Archer Series, the Stuff Series and the Caribbean series
